How You Can Help

  • Start a chapter, or get involved with the chapter in your region
  • Make a Section of the Banner: one of the most effective and hands-on ways to help the project is by making a section of the banner itself! Clickhere to get the instructions - it's not as hard as it seems! If your group makes a piece, contact your regional chapter and send it to them for use at events in your region.
  • Donate Fabric:Must be 12 inches wide, and as long as you want. Must be in one of the 6 colours , solid colours (tone-on-tone patterns only), lightweight fabric(cotton broadcloth is best). Please send fabric donations to your regional chapter
  • Donate Money:Please make cheques payable to The Pride Rainbow Project, or donate gift certificates to stores which sell fabric.
  • Donate Time:If you live in the same area as your regional chapter, you may be able to attend a sewing bee if they hold one. See your regional chapter's page for the date of the next one.
  • Spread the Word:Tell your friends!
  • Support GBLTQ Rights: Write or call your federal candidates and let them know that you want them to stand up for GBLTQ rights if elected.
