The Executive Committee

The Executive Committee is made up of five youth from Calgary. When they took the banner to Parliament Hill in June 2005, they became known as the "Calgary Five".

In the first phase of the project, these five youth, along with many supporters, ran the project themselves. Now that the project is going in a new direction and setting up Regional Chapters, the Chapters will be doing most of the on-the-ground work, while the Executive Committee makes policy decisions, helps with publicity, and supports and coordinates the work of the Chapters.

While all five members of the Executive Committee will still be involved with the Project, the two Executive Directors, Chris Michell and Cora Bailey will be taking the lead with the project.
